Summary
This manual, developed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) with VVOB’s technical support, strengthens feedback practices in Cambodia’s teacher training system. It provides a structured approach to building teacher trainers’ and model teachers’ capacity to guide student teachers during their practicum effectively.
The manual introduces key communication and feedback techniques, such as active listening, mirroring, the Johari Window model, and the six-step feedback process, to help mentors deliver constructive, motivating, and reflective feedback. It also includes observation tools and guidelines for organising feedback sessions. By integrating theory with practical examples, the manual supports continuous improvement in teacher preparation and enhances the quality of teaching and learning in Cambodian classrooms.
