The Mapping of School Leadership Landscape in Uganda Report provides an overview of how school leadership currently works across the country. It explores the policies, professional development opportunities, research and major actors shaping school leadership, highlighting what is working well and where gaps remain.

The report identifies opportunities to build a more coherent, inclusive and sustainable school leadership system through stronger policy implementation, better preparation and ongoing support for school leaders, increased use of research and evidence, and improved coordination across the education sector. It also provides a roadmap for strengthening school leadership to ultimately improve teaching and learning outcomes in Uganda.
