ICSEI 2026 Congress

Under the theme “Crossing Boundaries in Education: Fostering Innovative, Inclusive, and Sustainable Learning Environments,” ICSEI 2026 will be a space where boundaries are bridged between research and practice, past and future, local and global and where new possibilities for education take shape.

For the first time, the congress will offer sessions in both English and Arabic, with full translation provided for major events. The programme has been designed with attention to physical, linguistic, and digital accessibility. In addition to the academic programme, a social programme will give participants opportunities to engage with aspects of Qatar’s culture, heritage, and innovation. New formats, including masterclasses, learning visits, and TED-style talks, will be included to support exchange, reflection, and professional learning throughout the congress.

On Wednesday, 21 January, 1:15 pm to 2:45 pm AST, VVOB will present the paper 'Bridging the Digital Divide for Out-of-School Adolescents in Zambia: Evidence from the Digital School Programme Pilot'.
